The Hill Country has some of the prettiest landscapes in Texas. Valley bottoms crisscrossed with springs and hollows; huge grasslands, giant oak forests, and towering cypress caress the banks of clear, swift-running rivers winding between dramatic rises. But for the locals, there is one landscape regarded as the true Hill Country classic— The Frio Canyon, and Fish Camp Lodge is nestled in this beautiful place with its own private piece of the Frio River. 

Fish Camp Lodge is a beautiful place to host corporate events, retreats and bring family and friends to relax and enjoy nature. The two large homes are between two large picturesque hills next to the Frio River, great for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. 

The original ‘Fish Camp’ house consists of 3-bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is an adjoined new property with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a large Great room. 

Your family will enjoy the scenic views as they relax at one of the many outdoor areas. Sunny skies, the tranquil sound of the river, and Oak trees are just a few of the highlights that make this place fascinating. 

Relax by the indoor/outdoor fireplace, prepare a dinner at the outdoor kitchen, and enjoy fellowship, food, family, or friends on one of the decks—one of our guest’s favorites is the deck that sits over the water!
